Life Is Worth Living

Get a life man! Don’t be a cry-baby! Easier said, na? I once attempted suicide. So, I know what works behind the thought – depression, loneliness and end of life.

Solving loneliness is tricky. We think we alone are lonely; everyone else is happy. I suggest hanging a placard to that effect around your neck! Then someone may approach you; otherwise, it leads to complications.

If a lonely person is married, it means hell from the spouse. For others, it is the parents who misunderstand ‘loneliness removing exercises’ as attempts to sabotage their offsprings, especially by a youth.

After I survived, I stumbled on a solution: exercise instead of alcohol and indulging in what I love to do! Because medicines keep you inactive the entire time. My friend took to indulging in love. Voila! That worked for him.

For farmers, sometimes, things turn nasty. Ensure you have money to make both ends meet; a reason for suicide will be wiped off. For students, I must say “C’mon! It is not the end of the world. Kalidas was illiterate; so was Akbar. Take Einstein in your stride as well. I can go on about illiterates who made it so big, you would want to be an illiterate!”

Students have as many options as there are girls and boys in the institution. I cannot say for diehard fans of suicide but go talk and take solace in someone who cares. For desperate lovelorn, it is time for “tu nahi, aur sahi”.

It is difficult for an aging playboy, but You can cry on a shoulder. Nothing lasts forever, not even this suicide tendency.
