Old, dead, fallen trees are often considered an ugly sight and one wishes them, gone. Residents are also very reluctant to clear the leaves and feel, it is the duty of the Mali, to clear the park, of these leaves. Rightly said, it is the duty of the Mali, to clear the park, from unsightly roots, dead leaves and shrubs, more so during the monsoons, as these rot and emanate an awful stench. One morning one of the walkers pointed out, that these dead leaves, if left, where they are, will eventually turn into mature, and that one should bear with them. He insisted that human beings should co exist with nature and no aspect of nature is bad, even the smells, good or bad. Nature is Mother Earth and all aspects of it are good for all. He also suggested that people should try to collect leaves and learn to decompose them, even household waste like fruit and vegetable peels should be decomposed.
