Leaves are precious, not just in their green photosynthesizing on the plant and matter-of-fact converting light and air into matter avatar but also in their brown and billowing end-of-life crumpled state. To use the inherent power of these Leaves, we now have a Leaf Bin.
A Leaf Bin is a composter that aerobically converts garden/ horticulture waste to organic compost. Our AOH Gardens generate hundreds of kgs of green waste which, provided we successfully deploy the leaf bin, can be a source of rich compost that can really power up our park.
The first one has been made and awaits being filled. I am rooting for its success!
