Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Purab was celebrated with great reverence on 23rd November at Prateek Wisteria Society Sector 77 Noida. The Kirtan Darbar and Gurupurab Celebration was attended by Sangat in large numbers from Prateek Wisteria and outside.
Since the early morning itself, preparations for celebrating Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Guru Purab started in the society.
Sangat and Society Residents contributed their full efforts in cutting vegetables (Sewa) for the langar preparation .On the other side, the pandal was being prepared and decorated with flowers for the evening gathering. It was a mesmerizing sight.
At 5 o’clock in the evening, the Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s Prakash was done in the pandal with great respect. This was followed by the evening prayer of Rehras Sahib. Shabad Kirtan was recited by Senior and Junior children, who learn Gurbani Kirtan within the premises. Apart from this, the Raagi Jatha from Delhi, won the hearts of the devotees by reciting soulful Gurbani Shabad Kirtan in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib. There was a different resonance in the whole society with the chanting of Waheguru Jis name under the star lit sky.
At around 8.30 the program concluded with the Holy Sermon I.e HukamNama and distribution of Karah Parshad and with the Langar was servi ce the program was concluded.
PWs little Kirtan Kids were encouraged by giving them gifts. With great reverence, the Saroop of Babaji, Our Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji was respectfully sent off to their residence. As a large extended family, everyone got together and served langar to one and all.
