Panchsheel Enclave Ladies Association Meet took place on 5th July. This time, one of our esteemed member Seema, a psychologist and director/founder of Scope Plus was requested to speak on the subject “How to lead a happy and healthy life”. Scope Plus is a 27 year old NGO based in South Delhi whose vision is simply to “HELP”. SCOPE envisions a society where empowered people come forward to empower the powerless by channelizing the existing support. They have conducted Vocational training seminars, Adult Education programmes and even projects in Tihar Jail. In her talk, Seema advised the members present that they should live in the present and let go of the past. She emphasized that we should not let others rule our lives. The session was very interesting and interactive after which the ladies played their favourite game of Tambola. Hot soup with crispy pakodas were served and enjoyed by all.
