Last month, I was contacted by Ms. Sonali Gupta Verma, resident of A Block Extension & member of PRWS to volunteer for events in the Block. After meeting her I saw her enthusiasm & immediately agreed by giving her an opportunity. Later spoke with our President Mr Rakesh Jain and briefed him about our meeting. He fully supported. The objective of PRWS is to enhance such groups so change & new ideas can be introduced in society.
Sonali started a group & added 30 Block women and planned 1st Coffee Meet on September 26, 2024. Thanks to resident Tanvi who came forward and hosted 1st Coffee Meet at her residence.
Most gathered on this meet introduced themselves and planned 1st Dandiya Night on October 10, 2024 at A Block Extension park.
I personally feel these type of groups are very useful to become better educated and improve society. It also helps to empower women. Also promotes culture of respect and equality for female gender.
