That Sector 15A is home to immense cultural talent was never more evident than at the Ladies’ Club Sector 15A Meeting on 17th Oct. Our very own Sector ladies put forth a series of brilliant perfomances that kept the audience enthralled.
After the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, a graceful dance performance by the team comprising Shweta, Shashi Mathur, Garima Gupta, Rupanjali Saikia and Ritu Gupta, set the tone for the fun-filled morning. This was followed by a formal introduction of the recently formed organizing committee of the Ladies Club, by its President, Anita Jaswal. Anita Jaswal also called upon more ladies to come forth and strengthen the hands of the Ladies Club team.
A scintillating dance performance by Nidhi Bansal to the song/lyrics composed by Nidhi herself left the audience simply awe-struck. This was followed by a talk on the Ramayana by Mamata Kuchwaha who in her well-modulated and soothing voice reminded us yet once again about the immense repository of knowledge and spiritualism that our epics represent.
An important highlight of the morning was a nritya natika based on the Ramayana which was choreographed by the talented Reena Shukla. The other performers were Seema Gupta, Varsha Jain, Deepika Jalan, Arti Gupta, Varsha Aggarwal, Parul Agarwal, Manu Tyagi, Deepa Bansal, Ruchi Singhal and Ishika. The presentation of the nritya natika was a testimony to the hours of hard work and enthusiasm that Reena and the entire team have put in.
On popular demand, Vandana Shukla delighted the audience with a bhajan in her superb voice. This was followed by a beautiful Kathak recital by Ananya Chaturvedi which show-cased her immense talent. Finally, a fun-filled Garbha performance by the team of Richa Gupta, Harpreet Gupta, Vrinda Gupta, Hema Lal, Pooja Mitra and Shikha.
The festive attire of all the ladies attending the event and the colourful ethnic costumes of the participants added to the charm and spirit of the function. The lunch consisted of a tasty menu in keeping with the festive occasion.
The entire event was ably managed by the Ladies Club team of Anita Jaswal, President, along with Aruna Jain, Samidha Jain and Anjali Goyal who worked hard to create some moments of joy for the attendees.
