There are so many gems in our colony, who are unsung achievers. It is our duty to bring them to limelight, so that we can honour their achievements and inspire others to undertake such tasks which would make a difference in our Society. In our last monthly meet of the year of our Ladies Association, we invited Dr. Malika Nanda, a resident of Panchsheel Enclave who is passionate about educating the underpriviged and bringing them into the mainstream. An extremely passionate academician with a penchant for spotting the talent in these children who are unable to study due to financial reasons. A social worker at heart, an educationist, a global career coach, Dr. Nanda and her a team are on a mission and have reached out to at least ten lakh students so far. They have already covered 4.7 lakhs since 2019 as per her statement. Her journey has been for a noble cause, to bring in awareness about various educational and training courses, among the needy, buzzing youth in remote location all across India. She has been awarded 1) Nelson Mandela Leadership award 2) Top 10 Career Consultants, 2020 by women entrepreneur India 3) Associated Educator Award along with a fellowship by American Leadership Board. The list is far more. Our purpose was to motivate ladies to hone their skills and become tech-savvy more so now as Artificial intelligence is also here. Ladies present were very enthusiastic and motivated. They even downloaded the App Chatgpt. After the interactive talk a game of their all- time favorite Tambola was played and delicious Holiday special soup and snacks were enjoyed.
