Janmashtami, the celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth, was observed on Monday, August 26 in the colony with great religious fervour and enthusiasm. Hundreds of colony residents visited the local Shri Shiv Shakti Mandir to pay obeisance on the occasion of Janmashtami festival. The temple was adorned with flowers, lights, and festive decorations. Devotees gathered here to participate in the celebrations, which included devotional singing, dancing, and a midnight aarti. The highlight of the evening was the cultural programmes that included singing and dancing with the active participation of more than 75 children and elders. The venue was near the mandir and consisted of a tastefully decorated stage and seating arrangements for the residents. The stage background consisted of a 20×10 feet LED screen that took the residents to Brij Dham and the *Sakha Krishna*. The residents very much appreciated the digital and live contents created by Shruti and Sangeet , Bhawna and Abhishek. The residents also enjoyed the special food items available at the food stalls that were set up at the event area.
