Nisha Wadhwa, a resident of N3 GPE, second floor of our colony, always welcomes you with a sweet smile and compliments. Though a comparatively new resident, still she has managed to
carve a niche for herself in the neighbourhood. We bring to our readers different sides to her admirable personality Dr.Nisha Wadhwa superannuated from the Department of Higher Education Govt. of Haryana as college principal. She completed her Ph.D. and Advanced Diploma in Persian language from University of Delhi. She is already a published author with her book ‘India during Delhi Sultanate Period’, that came out in 2015. Her love for literature and creative pursuits has culminated into ‘Ujale Mann Ke’ the first collection of her poems.
She has deep concern for human values. Expressed in transparent, simple and lucid style, her free flowing poetic emotions instantly connect with readers.
She is a versatile person with artistic interests ranging from literature to music and painting. Her artistic skill of portraying emotions on canvas has featured in prestigious painting exhibitions. Readers will witness this talent on the cover page and some inner pages of her recently published book.
Besides this, she has a strong admiration for nature and it’s beauty. She is fond of gardening, and is environmentally conscious, deeply caring for its protection and conservation. She is widely traveled, both in the country and abroad.
She is actively involved in the activities of ‘MANASVINI’, and ‘IFSOWA’, the social clubs run by the spouses of high officers of the Indian Civil Services, which patronize and promote art, literature and social service. Along with all this, she discharges her social responsibilities by making every possible contribution to those in need.
