An event on painting, writing and oratory skills was organised by the gated locality team of RSS, Vasant Kunj with cooperation and support from RWA D3&4! As many as 41 kids (under 18 years) participated! A registration kit, soft drinks and tea were offered to the participants and to the accompanying persons. The kids drew sketches based on the portraits of nationalistic and spiritualistic legends of country like Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Subhash Chander Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Guru Rabindra Nath Tagore and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Kids also practised to improve handwriting skills with tips from school teachers. A short movie on Bhakt Prahlad was shown in connection with the Holi festival so the kids know the background and also get inspiration from Holi celebrations! Finally, the kids were motivated by citing examples of Shivaji and Mata Jijabai and trained in oratory skills! Some of them gained confidence by speaking on stage. The program ended with Rashtrgan and Bharat mata ki jai!
