The planet’s future lies in the hands of our little green warriors. Considering it, the Eco group always encourages kids to participate in this group’s activities. It is true that with their school, homework and tuition, they cannot spare much time for these activities, but where is there a way?
The eco group of Wellington, led by Anuradha P. Dhawan, organised a kitchen activity held at Green Restaurant, to help our kids to make the connection between Food, Consumption, Waste and Environment. They also did a Bio enzyme-making workshop. Aahaan, Vedanta, Suhana, Misha, Anay and Garv participated in this workshop.
Anay said “Every piece of trash you throw in the ocean, the more you pollute yourself.”
To plan this event, Wellington’s Mudita Mehrotra helped a lot.
Big thumbs up to the moms Kalpana Kanani, Mudita Arora, Reshu Agrawal, Rohini Mitter and Vidisha Singhal, who made this event possible. All moms should encourage their kids to participate in such activities and teach them the importance of these things.
