We recently found that Rainbows School in S block houses one of the hidden and forgotten ourselves on one of the posts on Instagram. The residents would be delighted to know that Rainbow Montessori School houses one of the hidden and forgotten monuments of Delhi. Delhi has a history which saw various upheavals due to the change in the power. Places around Panchshila Park ,Sadhna Enclave has lots of historical monuments which are forgotten. One such monument is “Kharbooje ka Gumbad” standing tall in Rainbows School in S Block. In the recent past, the horticulture department visited the monument to restore the dome of the structure. The dome is in the shape of a fruit perhaps half a musk melon (kharbooja), hence the name. (Contributed by Swati Shah)
