The AOA BOM held its first General Body Meeting (GBM) on Sunday, 30 June. 43 owners attended. The four-hours’ GBM was interactive. A constructive dialogue took place with key decisions taken as below –
NCLT Case – The BOM explained the facts and the IFMS recovery status based on the inputs received from the Legal Committee and the lawyer’s opinion. It was unanimously decided to file a writ petition and pursue the case through NCLT route.
To file the writ petition in the High Court, a three-member committee was appointed. Vineet Gupta (4241), Mukul Roongta (10114) and Sanjay David (6261) volunteered for this and will be acting in full capacity.
Swimming Pool Repairs – The swimming pool has been seeping through the walls into the basement and needs repairs in the interest of safeguarding overall structural integrity of the complex. Similarly, the children’s pool and the jacuzzi have not been functioning for two+ years which is a cause for great inconvenience to the kids who have been deprived of this facility.
AOA members unanimously approved the proposal to repair and make the children’s pool and jacuzzi functional again. This work will be carried out in the off – season. Although, we are exploring the possibility of repairing the kids’ pool within the season itself and make it operational again.
New AOH Signage – The signboard placed at the Commercial complex had been put away for almost nine months due to needing serious repairs. It was later decided that it could not be repaired. Also, we needed a modern – looking signage matching the AOH ethos.
In view of the above, a new signboard was ordered with a backlit design. The logo and society name are printed in 3D, keeping the pace with today’s modern designs.
Also, with continued efforts of the AOA and our resident volunteer Sanjay Bhatia (4101), the construction of the wall opposite Gate 1 has begun by Noida Authority. This will thwart the plans of the Ashram side to open their gate on the AOH side.
