Cedar Crest looks resplendent in the spring glory! The two main parks of Ceder Crest look well-manicured, vibrant and aesthetically appealing spaces. Flowers bloom on the roadsides too, and exotic birds have found perch on the trees.
There is a talk of beautifying vacant plots to be used by small children and elderly walkers. According to Mr Tarun Preet Singh, this proposal is waiting for a nod from the EC. If this plan is brought into action, the plots that were so far being used to feed pigeons, and strays by some residents will be transformed into beautiful garden areas. A couple of empty plots are already being used as badminton courts. These temporary parks will ensure that small children stay off-roads and play in protected spaces.
Another initiative taken this month by Tarun Preet Singh of the RWA was to start clockwise (one-way) traffic around the parks to avoid collisions.
It is the passion of the office bearers of RWA that helps make Cedar Crest residents feel so safe and happy.
