A commendable campaign is currently underway within the SDF flats, spearheaded by President of SDF, Anupma Bhardwaj. She spoke passionately about their enduring commitment to nurturing a more harmonious community, which initially took root with the inception of the “Kya Aap Theek Hain” programme. This initiative is aimed at reaching out to the esteemed senior citizens residing in the SDF area, with a steadfast focus on monitoring their well-being consistently.
A dedicated guard by the name of Pradeep diligently undertakes the responsibility of visiting five to six flats each day, where he seeks to inquire about the residents’ welfare. The vital information gathered during these visits is meticulously collated and subsequently shared with the SDF President. With the assistance of Neeraj Dewan, she scrupulously reviews these details and takes necessary action. This campaign seems to have yielded remarkable success and has garnered praise from the senior citizens it aims to serve.
Supervisor Pradeep has already completed three rounds of visits to the flats occupied by senior citizens. When asked to share her perspective, Anupma passionately underscored that the safety, security, and overall well-being of senior citizens remain her foremost priorities. She is personally committed to visiting and spending quality time with those who live alone, forming close and meaningful bonds with them. She also expressed her intention to initiate additional welfare initiatives in the near future to foster a stronger and more compassionate community for senior citizens.
