This time the Ladies were quite chilled out for Karwachauth Clebrations, after two and a half years of lockdown and not being able to celebrate with everyone.
The ladies came dressed in splendid colours and jubilant moods despite the fast. They gathered in a well decorated, illuminated pandal. Their enthusiasm was only to be seen, while getting mehndi put on their hands, along with the romantic music playing in the background. Lots of stalls of Ladies suits, bangles, nail art, famous dry spices of Kerala, lights and diyas, gift boxes were the special attaractions.
As the evening advanced, couples and families started arriving. A lot of tandoori snacks and drinks made the evening more enjoyable. The live music and songs charged the atmosphere. In short, this Karwachauth eve was a memorable one.
Next day the beautiful ladies, with their ‘pooja thali’ in their mehndi wale, nail art done hands arrived in afternoon in the Mandir from 3pm to 5pm to do the Gauri pooja. The Karwachauth story teller Anita Bhatia conducted the pooja with lot of fun. The whole program was well planned and full of fun. We only wish that the country remains Covid free and we can enjoy our festivals with all the zeal & fun as earlier.
