Karva Chauth is celebrated annually by married Hindu women in India with fun &joy. They keep nirjala fast from sunrise till moonrise for the longevity of their husbands. This year, on Wednesday, 1 November, we celebrated at Pallabi Sharma’s residence (8101) who is also a tarot reader by profession.
The celebration began with a one – of – a – kind pageant competition where each participating lady walked the ramp and mentioned why she deserved the best dressed award.
The award finalists were chosen not only for their attire but also for the best answer to the jury’s question. The winner, Monika Aggarwal (8161), won the trophy of Karva Chauth 2023 – Best Dressed!
Pallabi had also arranged a few unique fun games like ‘What Everyone Is Called by Her Husband at Home’ that had all the gorgeous women do some real thinking followed by rip-roaring laughter and warm bonding!
The games were followed by Karva Chauth katha and thali exchange that the ladies conducted with great devotion. The celebration wrapped up with a beautifully guided meditation conducted by Pallabi to help everyone keep calm and relaxed for the rest of the day.
The gorgeous women went back home or downstairs for photo shoot with pretty pink potlis full of presents, including a discount coupon, as a gratitude.
