The Cultural Committee of C Block, on the occasion of Karwa Chauth, organised getting mehndi decorations on hands done for ladies of the block by a mehndi artist from an NGO at a reasonable cost on October 19 from 3 pm to 9 pm. A number of women got together to get their hands decorated with Mehndi. They played the tambola, sang songs, and had fun during the time while waiting for the moon sighting. Arrangements for pooja were also made separately for fasting women at 4 pm.
