4 Persons Arrested By Ps Greater Kailash & 9 Stolen Mobile Phones & 1 Auto used in crime were Recovered
The staff of Police Station Greater Kailash, South District has done commendable work by arresting 4 mobile thieves Gopi, Pankaj Kumar, Sunil Kumar & Ram Kumar Yadav. From their possession, 9 stolen mobile phones and 1 auto used in the crime were recovered and 9 cases of theft were resolved.
Two incidents of mobile thefts were reported in Greater Kailash. Immediately, the police staff contacted the complainants who alleged that some unknown persons had stolen their mobile phones when they were in the market in GK-1 area.
Keeping in view the sensitivity of the case and repeated incidents of mobile thefts, a team of SI Varun Gulia, ASI Major Hussain, ASI Kamlesh, HC Sunil Kumar headed by Inspr. Ajit Kumar, SHO/Greater Kailash under Manu Himanshu, ACP/C.R. Park was formed to nab the culprits behind these cases.
The team checked the CCTV footage of the places of incidents (M-Block Market GK-1 and Zamrudpur) and established entry and exit routes adopted by the culprits. Throughout the analysis of CCTV footages, some suspects were zeroed down. Some other important and result oriented clues were collected with the help of CCTV footage as well as through secret informers. Further, the photos of the suspects were developed through technical apparatus and circulated through police net to get their identity. The beat staff was also directed to activate their local informers and collect human intelligence in this regard.
A secret information was received about the suspects. The information was further developed and through surveillance ant technical analysis, locations of the accused were zeroed down. A raid was conducted and 4 accused persons Gopi, Pankaj Kumar, Sunil Kumar & Ram Kumar Yadav were arrested. From their possessions, 09 mobile phones & 01 auto were recovered. On enquiry, the mobile phones were found to be stolen from different areas. The accused were arrested and the recovered mobile phones & 01 auto were seized.
