Indeed, an excellent event organised by RWA President, Sneh Lata Rathi on Sat, at D-6 Santushti Apptts in association with our Police VK-North & South.
It was a great opportunity provided for the Vasant Kunj residents to share their needs and problems in the benign presence of ACP Ajay Vedwal and SHO Surya Prakash and their staff.
Your Forum also took advantage and submitted a copy of the Samvada-March issue, in which we had already mentioned about three small issues needing solution.
The first and the foremost: Stray Cows, roaming around on the roads, especially from B-7 to B-11. Such an important road, the so-called Heart Line of Vasant Kunj, with such big schools like Goenka & Bhatnagar, important markets, SCWA, Malls etc suffering from huge traffic hazards.
Secondly, absence of Zebra Lines, making it so difficult for the pedestrians especially children and Senior citizens to cross the roads.
And, thirdly absence of Speed-Breakers before the Exit Gates of several sector-pockets, opening on the main roads, resulting in accidents of vehicles coming speedily from the right sides.
The ACP took note of all these issues and assured that he will be discussing it with Traffic Department to find solutions.
Unfortunately, due to sudden emergencies, our DCP Manoj C and SHO VK-South could not attend the function.
Looking forward to more such initiatives by Delhi Police for very important, and interactive sessions.
