Janmashtami is a festival celebrated among Hindu devotees across the world. On this day, we welcome Lord Krishna in our homes by decorating our little Krishna idols with beautiful new clothes and serving delicacies which were His favourite during His childhood.
This time, we Espacians too organised Janmashtami on a little larger scale with full zest and devotion on Thursday, 7 September at the Amphitheatre. A beautiful Kanha ji adorned on a decorated jhula attracted everyone.
Residents took blessings and joined the Bhajan Sandhya. Later on, dance performances by kids of different age groups and ladies enthralled the audience present. The programme ended with a beautiful aarti of Kanha ji and prasad distribution among all.
Kids were presented with some gifts and elders with a sapling as a token of appreciation. We all were feeling immensely blessed to mark such a spiritual journey and hope to continue in upcoming years as well.
At the end, we would like to thank a few residents who took the initiative and organised this event with full devotion. Ritu Ghavri, Renu Bhardwaj, Meena Bachhtey, Sudha Sharma, Rajni Yadav, Avantika Shrivastava, Seema Goswami, Jeet Verma, Vinod Taneja, RK Aggarwal, Deepak Verma, AK Gupta, Atul Gupta and Vivek Chopra. Also the Residents who generously contributed for prasad and gifts.
A special thanks to Mrs. Mamta Aggarwal (Vice President, AOA) for her relentless support as always in making it a big success.
