Ladies Especial
With a high spirit of festivity, the Ladies Club held “Deep Parv” on 15th Oct in the front lawns of Club 15A.
This kind of mini-Diwali Mela was inaugurated by Kiran Sahani, Director Mayoor School and Delhi Metropolitan College.
The Lighting of the Lamp and the inauguration of the Cultural programme was done in the auspicious presence of Poonam Lal, Group Director, Metro Group of Hospitals.
The Cultural events included Diya Dance by the tiny-tots of Rachna Gupta’s Dance Class, and the students of Devi Welfare Foundation added grace and rhythm through their scintillating performance. Each participant was given a certificate and gifts as tokens of appreciation. The gifts were sponsored by Anu Gupta (H.no.425).
The event also saw some exquisite exhibits and the sale of exclusive Diwali related stuff.
Keeping the trend, tradition and thrill of the festival, the Ladies Club had Lucky Draws on the entry ticket and of course several rounds of Tambola for more throwaway prizes! The Ladies Club extends special gratitude to Amit Gupta, Proprietor of Smartee e Stationery Mart, a division of AG Enterprises who sponsored appropriate gifts for the occasion. The ladies who walked away with favourable luck were: Nidhi Bansal, Ishita Gupta and Neetu Agarwal.
This being a Ladies Especial Celebration, which saw approximately 300 charming souls decorating the Club lawns at dusk, were also witnessed by many from the male fraternity who were fretful at not getting access to either the ‘eye-tonic’ or the ‘taste-bud ticklers’!
Indeed, the taste-buds were kept happy by the chatpata counter extended by the Club caterer at a small price.
