As they say in French “un grand événement” or Great Event in English.
A memorable evening to celebrate Diwali was organised by the volunteers of ITKT to celebrate the upcoming festival of Diwali. After 2 years of living in a world affected by Covid this was a perfect event which not only reminded all of us about the importance of celebrations but also gave a platform for all residents & their families to come together & celebrate.
A lot of hard work put in by the volunteers behind the scenes ensured that all of us had a great time. Planning for the event was immaculate right from the decoration to the DJ…We had a wonderful start with a Pooja which was followed by a kids fashion show, a shopping festival through all the wonderful stall owners & the peppy music which was just perfect.
All of us danced to the beats in a carefree attitude & it was wonderful to see all the age groups from children to senior citizens having a good time.
It was so nice to see the participation of so many resident families in the run up to the event through Dandiya practice, kids art competition, Kids fashion show, Senior citizens Tambola, and kids games stalls to name a few activities. Senior citizens birthday celebrations with cake cutting made the day even more special for many wonderful residents.
ITKT community is thankful to all the volunteers, sponsors, in-house resident sponsors & the wonderful resident families to have participated which made this a Grand success. God bless us all for many more festivities & we ITKT together have many more joyous moments.
