The Roads of Safdarjung Enclave have been talking on their own! Everytime one drives, cycles or walks, its a reflection of our colony and city infrastructure.
Whether it is the Sara Mathew Lane or the road joining B-4 block and B-6 block through Humuyun Pur and Arjun Nagar. Whether it is the potholes or the poor patch work, roads are in a dilapidated state. Not to forget the broken down vehicles lying on the road side which have not been cleared for years.
We the people need to question, where do all the tax collection go if we have to keep reminding for basic infrastructure including roads and water supply.
The question arises, what do we want to give to our future generations? Why do we give examples of cities outside India for their infra and why not Delhi?
Now with same political party holding fort in MCD and State Assembly, there is no scope for excuses and its time to deliver.
