Construction of a Mall and Bharat Ghars Across the Sector
The ongoing construction of the upcoming mall, Central 50, in F-block Sector-50, has brought about numerous challenges for residents since its inception. The presence of towering cranes is not only visually intimidating but also pose potential safety concerns and has understandably caused unease among residents of the multi-storey apartments. The activities during construction breach dust norms as well as violate permitted noise levels (decibels) during late night hours. The trucks laden with construction material, visible from the top floors, have understandably made the residents of the apartments uneasy.
Additionally, the emergence of small-time vendors and makeshift shanties in the vicinity due to rapid increase in commercial activity is not being adequately regulated. The ongoing construction work, often extending into late hours and surpassing permissible noise levels, further exacerbates the situation, disrupting the peace and tranquility of the area. One of the most pressing issues is the obstruction of roads by the large trucks bringing construction material. This not only hampers smooth traffic flow but also poses risks to pedestrians and other motorists, who are forced to navigate through congested routes. Furthermore, the dust and pollution generated as a byproduct of construction activities pose health hazards to residents and workers alike, necessitating urgent attention and mitigation measures from relevant authorities.
Construction of a multi-speciality hospital, which is following construction norms, is also going since long next to the Sector-50 metro station.

Another issue of concern is indiscriminate bursting of crackers by all Barat Ghars surrounding F- block, Sector-50. The noise levels of these crackers are so high that one can’t even sit quietly at your home. The crackers bursting by these Barat-ghar owners starts at about 5 pm and goes late night up to 1 am. Not to talk about the indiscriminate dhol and pressure speakersthat start again at 5 am. The 24×7 crackers bursting by these Barat ghars is causing a massive deterioration to already extremely bad air condition of the sector.
