On 21 June, ‘International Yoga Day ’ was celebrated this year countrywide. The awareness about ‘Yoga’ has increased considerably over recent years with people of all age groups sincerely performing regular yoga practices. On the occasion of ‘Yoga Day’, the residents of AGV-1 also participated in yoga program organised by ‘a spiritual organization on 21June evening, Wednesday at the Central Park. People of all age groups including children assembled there on time and practiced yogasan, paranayam and meditation. Richa Didi explained the benefits and utilities of yoga and meditation in our daily routine for achieving a healthy body and mind.
It was heartening to see enthusiasm and interest among the residents to actively participate at this event. The program ended with distributed of Prasad among all participants.
