International Women’s Day was celebrated on Friday 7.2.2025 in the library and recreational centre B4 block Safdarjung Enclave under the banner of ‘Jagshala Seva Foundation’.
The program was conceptualized by Geetanjali Jetley who was the convenor, Raj Popli , Bharti Singh and Shibani Choudhary were the co-convenors. Aarti Upadhyay consented to be the Chief Guest. Her address to the ladies was mesmerizing and motivational. She rcecited a poem on Nari Shakti which received great applause.
The program had 4 informative talks regarding ‘posture’ , knee problems, travel and life style by the respective experts. The talks were followed by Live music by Pradeep Sharma and the group. It was anchored beautifully. The program was attended by many dignitaries like Aarti Mehra ji, former Mayor of Delhi, Meenu Pathak w/o P.N.Pathak MLA from Khushi Nagar UP, Pinkesh Rana ji Adhyaksha Mahila Morcha New Delhi Zila, Rachna Tiwari ji, Pushpa Shukla ji , Nidhi Madan ji founder member Streebal, to name a few.
Aarti Mehra, in her address, highlighted the role of nari shakti and asked everyone to do their bit for viksit Bharat sincerely. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Geetanjali Jetley followed by sumptuous snacks.
