This March 8, women from Wellington Estate and nearby areas gathered at Patio Club to celebrate International Women’s Day filling the venue with laughter and joy.The event started with snacks and drinks being served, followed by three fun games that everyone enjoyed. Each participant shared how this day holds significance for them, and a common thought was echoed, that, women are the center for their family, and if they are strong, the nation will be strong and progress too. The entertainment continued with Tambola being played. Everyone got to have a slice from the big cake brought to mark the occasion, followed with a delicious meal.
