All Utopia Residents Association (AURA) organized the “Inter Society Utopia Basketball Challenge Cup 2023”, having under-12 and under-10 categories (girls and boys combined) on 03 and 04 June 2023, respectively, in the Utopia basketball court. The competition started at 5.30pm and was played on league basis with best two performing teams under each category qualifying for the finals on the same day. The 5 teams that participated, with each team having 10 players, in the Challenge Cup were – Eldeco Utopia, Noida; ATS One Hamlet, Noida; Park Laureate, Noida; Prateek Edifice, Noida; and Ardee, Delhi. Team Utopia won in both under-12 and under-10 categories. Vedaant was declared Man of the Match in under-12. Team Ardee from Delhi was the runner up. The chief guest, Mr. SS Khosla, gave away prizes to the winners. The tournament was a big hit with residents who turned up to cheer and motivate the bud ding Champs. Gp.Captain (Retd.) Rajesh K. Singh, a member of AURA and sports in charge deserves a special mention for organizing this successful event.
