Victory Voices, an initiative dedicated to celebrating resilience and personal triumph, invites inspiring individuals from all walks of life to share their stories. Each month, this platform provides a stage for community members to discuss their victories, both big and small, offering hope and motivation to others. These live sessions are not only conducted in person but are also recorded and shared on their official YouTube channel, ensuring that the messages reach a wider audience. Occasionally, to respect the speaker’s wishes, some sessions are recorded without an audience.
June Spotlight: Sujata Goenka
In June, Victory Voices hosted a special recording session for Sujata Goenka, a woman who has defied the odds in more ways than one. Born with cerebral palsy, Sujata has faced significant challenges throughout her life. The condition, which affected her muscle coordination, had an impact on her speech and motor skills, including walking. However, Sujata refused to let these limitations define her.
Trained as a Special Educator at REACH Kolkata’s Audiology and Research Centre, Sujata became a teacher for hearing-impaired students. Her journey is one of resilience and determination. Despite the challenges she faced as a specially-abled female, she chose to live fearlessly, setting a powerful example for others in similar situations. Her indifference to societal reactions only made her stronger, embodying the belief that “where there is a will, there is a way.” For Sujata, boundaries existed only in the mind, and she shattered them with remarkable courage.
August Spotlight: Dipika A. Bhatia
In August, Victory Voices featured Dipika A. Bhatia, a renowned dietitian, cancer survivor, and naturopath specializing in therapeutic diets. Dipika’s story is nothing short of extraordinary. After surviving 28 tumors in her large intestine, she not only reclaimed her health but also discovered a new purpose in life. Today, Dipika is a beacon of hope for others battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Through her NGO, Aas Ek Prayaas, Dipika helps individuals adopt healthier lifestyles and heal their illnesses through naturopathy and natural diets. Her journey from a cancer survivor to a leading nutritionist and naturopath is a testament to the human spirit’s resilience and the power of positive thinking. Dipika’s story inspires all who are silently fighting their own battles, demonstrating that with strength and dedication; even the most daunting challenges can be overcome.
This remarkable effort by Victory Voices did not go unnoticed. In a seminar focused on Recognizing Emotions, held by the Healing Club at Artemis Hospital in Gurgaon, Victory Voices was honored for its significant contributions. The Healing Club, which shares a vision of ensuring physical, social, emotional, and spiritual health for everyone, recognized each member of the Victory Voices team with a trophy. Additionally, a certificate of appreciation was awarded to the team for their dedication and impactful work.
The stories of Sujata Goenka and Dipika A. Bhatia are just two examples of the many remarkable individuals featured by Victory Voices. Their journeys of willpower, courage, and perseverance serve as powerful reminders that no obstacle is insurmountable.
