To improve the air quality of NCR, WECA has asked for the support of Wellington residents. As per the NCR Regional plan 2041, the air quality in Gurgaon and NCR would further deteriorate courtesy our apathy towards trees, forests, Aravallis, Forest cover target, and ‘Natural conservation zones’.
A letter is being sent from Gurgaon citizens to the government authorities asking for revision in this plan so that our air quality could improve. WECA management has kept a signature sheet with the guard in every tower so that all the Wellingtonites may sign that.
Cricket is the most favorite game of everybody. It never differentiates between young and old, male or female, rich or poor, especially when a cricket match is between India and Pakistan. Considering the keen interest and to cheer up our team India, on 4th September WECA organized a live telecast of the match on a big screen at W1 park. Food and soft beverages were also available on a payment basis. Biryani, Kebabs were also there and Wellingtonites thoroughly enjoyed it.
On 11th September, a Diagnostic Company conducted a Mega Diabetes and Health Checkup Camp at Wellington. This camp offered free diabetes and Thyroid+Cholesterol checkup for Rs.99/ along with many other packages at attractive discounts. There was an early bird offer too, which entitled the first 25 entries to a complimentary coupon worth Rs. 300/.
