This year’s Cricket World Cup caught a bit more attention as the Indian Team was on the home ground. After being two-time champions, the third time was considered to be a charm for the Indians. The perfect dream was so close of being true till the Finals of the Championship, between India and Australia.
When talking about the lovers of Cricket, Espacians are no exception. Both the mega matches of Team India were set up for screening in the amphitheatre with snacks, refreshments, and a stadium-like environment.
The Semi-finals between India and New Zealand brought immense happiness for the cricket fans, as the dream to lift up the trophy for the third time started to seem possible.
Naturally for the finals, the enthusiasm was double, the hopes were double. Along with the match screening, there were snacks. refreshments, and even a tattoo artist who painted the Indian flag in different designs on the fans’ cheeks and hands.
Despite all the excitement, the results said otherwise. After a good innings, India’s bowling could not calm the wrath of Australian batsmen. Although every Indian was filled with disappointment, we still feel proud of the Indian Cricket Team for a wonderful journey till the Finals.
