Sunday, 19 November: Once again, the setup was ready. This time at a bigger scale. Our Amphitheatre became the Narendra Modi Stadium in ATS One Hamlet. It didn’t matter if you were 1, 10 or even 100-years-old; it was a day to hoot, whistle and dance for India.
Hamletians didn’t leave anything to chance. Everyone came out to support Team India. Though India’s magnificent run in ICC World Cup 2023 came to an end with the loss, it was a clear win and celebration of the game of cricket.
The two screenings provided a golden opportunity for Hamletians to demonstrate how energetic and passionate we all are. Not just adults, a child in every adult was also out during these screenings. It was truly an excellent sight with the Indian Flags fluttering all across the Amphitheatre, and everyone involved in Hooting, Jumping, Dancing, Face Painting and Screaming Indiaaa… INDIA!
It didn’t matter which Age, Sex, Religion, Caste, Background one belonged to; it was a demonstration of a truly connected community following ‘THE’ religion of India – Cricket!
