78th Independence Day was celebrated with usual pride and patriotism in Utopia. Flag hoisting was done by AURA President, Rajesh Paliwal, along with several senior citizens of the society. This was followed by the national anthem and the President’s address. Then the much-awaited cultural program commenced. The participants, this year, were mostly little children who won everyone’s hearts with their enthusiastic and confident performances. The program concluded with the prize distribution and Tiranga yatra, with the staff and residents of Utopia going around the complex carrying the tricolour and shouting patriotic slogans.
