The 77th Independence Day, 15 August, was celebrated with enthusiasm in Mahagun Manor. The decoration at the celebration site was in tricolour, which exuded the patriotic fervour in the preparation made for the occasion. The tricolour flag was hoisted in the presence of the residents, who sang the national anthem in unison. Children presented cultural performances. Most of the people present were wearing Indian dresses in the shades saffron, white and green.
