PERA, PERWA and HOLIDAY CLUB joined hands to celebrate 77th Independence Day at Holiday Club with all the fanfare and fantasy. Beautiful sparkling orange and green lights on the pathway illuminated the club during night, with a wow feeling for the club visitors. On 15th the TT Hall was decorated with tricolour balloons, the entrance with tricolour eye catching flower decorations! The whole program was well designed, well regulated, well in time as per schedule and well anchored by Secretary Gaurav Bhardwaj. Justice R. k. Gauba of our colony hoisted the flag followed by our National Anthem. Thereafter Supra Aggarwal, a choreographer presented the children’s programs, based on our independence showcasing national fervour. Academically good performing children of class 10th and 12th were acknowledged for their performance. Our little genie Yuwan, a pride of Budhirajas and whole Panchsheel Enclave and is also performing in a web series, “Made in heaven” was well applauded. All the children present there were given gifts. Our councillor Shikha Rai who arrived a bit late due to her busy schedule, emphasised on the fact that we are enjoying this day because of the sacrifice of our ancestors and soldiers which we should never forget and follow in their footsteps and take our country forward based on their dreams. A scrumptuous brunch followed the program. About 500 people enjoyed the multi cuisine brunch, along with Jalebis and Rasmalai. Next time, the maids should be given a separate place to sit as their presence constricted the space for the senior citizens of the colony.
Last but not the least, a box of Tiranga sweets from our Madan Lal Halwai was offered to all the members present. It was an icing on the cake.
All thanks and kudos to the chairman Arun Rajpal, Secretary Gaurav Bhardwaj and his team for organising the program so well.
