C block RWA, like every year, this year again organized Independence Day celebrations in Ornamental Park in wonderful weather and green surroundings. The flag hoisting was done by Shikha Rai, MCD Councilor, Greater Kailash area in the presence of RWA Patrons. SC Garg and A.P. Nagpal, President Ajit Verma, Secretary Pradeep Garg, Treasurer R.P. Gupta, senior residents, men, women and children. The event began with patriotic songs by ladies and children of the block. A group patriotic song was sung by ladies with Shikha Rai joining the group. Quiz competition was organized for children. Goodies were distributed by Ms Jawa to all children who participated. During two- hour long event, patriotic songs were played in background. Residents wished and greeted each other. It was a great bonhomie. Kulche chhole, samosas, sweets, coffee and cold drinks were freely served. Thanks to RWA cultural events team of Sunita Gupta, Madhu Poddar, Sunita Garg and Meeta Sanghvi for organizing a great event.
