PRWS and ABEMHC (the Power Backup group) jointly organised the Independence Day celebrations in the park behind Mega Mall. The super-senior citizens of the block were invited for the fag hoisting. The national anthem was sung by all.
It was almost the ‘House-Full’ as it seemed that most of the residents of the block, including children, attended the event. A few children of the block performed by singing patriotic songs. All the kids received gifts and they looked very excited, having participated with full enthusiasm.
The park was beautifully decorated with Tiranga flags. Mouth-watering sumptuous chaat items of Old Delhi fame were on the platter, which everyone relished.
