In another step towards inclusiveness and patriotism, Dr Anupma Bhardwaj held an Independence Day celebration at Nandan Kanan Park for our domestic staff and the children. Rajnish Gupta (SDF 21C) also
pitched in for this happy event.More than 300 desh-bhakts attended this celebration. Domestic manager Shaheen and her daughter Yashika looked after the entire cultural event. Yashika’s friend Lakshmi did the choreography. Youngsters and children performed beautifully. Later, all the participants were given lovely gifts. Food packets were distributed to all those who attended.
Nandan Kanan Park was beautifully decorated for the event. On the whole, the atmosphere was full of patriotism and excitement. Guard Pradeep and Vatavaran karmchari Deepak also helped with this event. Later Anupma Bhardwaj said she would organise Independence Day as well as Republic Day for domestic workers every year. She said she was inspired by the late MMS Rana’s long years of dedicated service to our fellow helpers and their families. Kudos to Anupma and her team!
