The dawn of 15th August 2024, broke with promising sunny weather and every heart was filled with joy to celebrate the Independence Day in memory of those great leaders who brought us this glorious freedom.
At 9:30 am we could hear the drum beats following the parade organised by the guards. On the entry of the parade at Central Park,the flag was hoisted by our respected president Dr Kazmi, accompanied by the Assistant Manager- Mr Rahul Suryavanshi. It was followed by the National anthem and a meaningful speech by the President.
The cultural program was like a bouquet of colourful flowers, and it was performed by participants of all ages from different states. The patriotic songs by Mr Dhar and Dr Mukul Jain are worth mentioning. The events were compèred by a very efficient couple of Princeton, Archana ji and Amit ji of 1B 173, which made the whole environment vibrant.
The performance by the tiny tots was out of the world and extremely wonderful. Their innocence was bubbling in their songs, poems and dances and their attempts to perform their parts with full enthusiasm were beyond description.
People were so happy to meet and greet each other on the precious, eventfulday of the rainy season and the heart longed for more patriotic celebrations in the community. The refreshment boxes were handed over to the audience and the tea lovers sipped their steaming tea with smiling faces.
Our honest thanks to the members of the condominium who made the arrangements flawless ! Oh Yes!
We have to wait for an year more to watch another Independence Day celebration!
