New Friends Club proudly hosted the annual Independence Day flag hoisting event, celebrating the spirit of freedom and unity. The event was held in the presence of our esteemed members and dignitaries.
Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The ceremony began at 9:30 am with the flag hoisting by S.S. Aggarwal, president, Vaish Aggarwal Friends Society. The moment was marked by a collective salute and the singing of the national anthem, instilling a sense of patriotism and respect for our nation’s heritage.
Guest of Honor
We were honored to have Sardar R.S. Bajaj, our Patron, as the Guest of Honor. His presence and words of encouragement inspired everyone, reminding us of the importance of unity and cooperation in building a strong community.
Program Highlights
Patriotic Songs (9:45 am): Following the flag hoisting, the atmosphere was filled with patriotic fervor as members of the club performed soulful renditions of patriotic songs. The melodies evoked a deep sense of pride and gratitude for the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
Refreshments (10:30 am): The event concluded with a refreshment session, providing an opportunity for members to socialize and reflect on the significance of Independence Day.
Like every year, the New Friends Club management successfully conducted this program under the capable leadership of Anill Datta, president, New Friends Club. His dedication and commitment to fostering a sense of community and patriotism are truly commendable. As we celebrate our independence, let us continue to work together towards the betterment of our society, upholding the values of freedom, equality, and justice for all.
