Hamilton court community, celebrated the spirit of freedom, 78th Independence Day, with lot of zest, brotherhood and patriotic feelings. The flag unfurling ceremony was attended by Residents and Staff members with lot of enthusiasm.
The speech of RWA president, Mr. Tapan Paul had a resounding message for everyone, that our freedom that we enjoy has come at a great price, it is a time to reflect on our responsibilities as citizens and it is our duty to preserve and enhance it for the generations to come. We should embrace the values of unity, tolerance, and inclusivity, and work towards building a nation that stands as a shining example to the world.
There were lineup of events organised by RWA team to celebrate and reignite our love for our motherland. The participation of all age groups from children to senior ignited the patriotic spirit in one and all. The performance included patriotic songs, dance performances, poetry recitation, games for hamilton security & maintenance officers.
A special reference to this day was the spectacular performance by Sarvam Shakti NGO. The group of 15 girls, ignited patriotic spirits among the audience keeping everyone spell-bound with their talent and dance performances. The smile and confidence on the young faces talked a lot more about their journey winning every one’s praise as well as heart.
