Ridgewood celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, despite the tricky weather. The event began with the flag hoisting ceremony, conducted by the Ridgewood Warriors, a team comprising the supervisors of security, housekeeping, horticulture, and maintenance. Their dedication was appreciated by all the residents who gathered in large numbers to honour the day.
The cultural program that followed was the highlight of the celebration. The children of Ridgewood showcased their talent by reciting self-composed poems, reflecting their love for the nation. Adding to the festive spirit, the girls from Sarvam Shakti Foundation performed captivating dance performances which left the residents in awe.
The event concluded with tea and snacks, where residents enjoyed the chole kulche. The day was a perfect blend of patriotism, creativity, and community spirit, making it a memorable occasion for all.
