Club celebrated the glorious 77 years of Independence with the spirit of Patriotism. The event was celebrated in its lawn where hues of tricolour was featured in decoration giving it a very unique look.
The celebrations started with kite flying in which colourful kites and maanja were provided by the club.
Ashok Shrivastav gave a start by making everybody to say “Bhaarat Mata ki jai” especially the children who were there in large numbers and waiting for their performances.
Two professional singers sang old patriotic songs which made all tap their feet on the lyrics.
Children from Triptotales activity centre of club also performed on the stage. Clad in Indian soldier attire these kids conveyed a powerful message on harmony unity and peace.
These moves inculcated feeling of patriotism and love and pride towards nation among children. Bringing them to participate in such national events in singing, dancing or even skits develop the habit of their connection with motherland. Two-three groups of children also performed dances during the event and made their teachers and parents proud.
Club this year felicitated all doctors residing in the sector, also doctors of Apollo hospital and I Care hospital by thanking them for keeping the community fit. They were honoured by beautiful stoles. Ladies committee of club Anita Bhalwar, Meenu Wadhwa, Gunjan, Sujata, Preeti Gupta, Rachna Bhargava and Snehlata Jain who work hard to make all functions a hit and successful were also honoured by stoles and were given a standing ovation.
The food arrangements made by club caterer were also too good and food served was on two counters to avoid overcrowding with no compromise on taste and quality.
