WATER – Has been the most discussed topic in the past few months. First the water flooded the colony due to heavy rainfall. Then water plants got shut and there was no water supply in the colony and residents either depended on Water Tankers or Submersible pumps. The latest which has happened in Defence colony is the rise on water table affecting more than 8 houses in the colony where the water is entering through the lift shaft from the base. Whatever you try Yamuna ji toh prakat ho ke rahenge. I’m personally one of the sufferers who has water coming from the shaft base. Even after getting everything checked the leakage water still comes in and within twenty minutes 8 to 10 buckets of water has to be removed from the 4’ by 4’ area (this is the situation even at the time I’m writing this article). No water proofing will work until water table subsides. Hope that to happen soon. Till then Yamuna maa ki jai.
