Work on relaying the W Block main road was initiated by the authorities recently but has been left incomplete with only one side of the road having been carpeted afresh. Since the level of this side of the road is now higher than the level of the rest of the road, rainwater and dirt has started collecting on the unfinished section of the road. Besides, causing traffic and health hazards, this will also lead to the accumulated rainwater corroding the surface of the freshly carpeted section of the road which would render the entire effort of road carpeting useless. The authorities need to plan and execute this work properly and expeditiously.
