Fail to understand how authorities come to know that Def Col has some new roads around. Unfortunately, the government agencies on some pretext or the others start digging them.
Be it BSES, Jal board or internet operators. Every month we see a new spot being dug around the colony. And after the work is finished the dug portion is just filled with mud and left, which gradually caves in.
Majority of back lanes had new sewer lines and the lanes have been left unrepaired resulting in becoming garbage dumps with overgrown weeds.
The new security committee has taken some steps and the contractors are not allowed to work without proper permission and also not to carry forward until the earlier work is filled and concretised properly.
Also, the councillor Mrs Baisoya and Sandeep have promised their full support it rectifying the area where work was carried by respective departments and left with shoddy work. Already the work on this has started.
