In the Last Two Terms Sanjeev & Sial Teams Have Brought About a Big Operational & Financial Change in the Club & the RWA

In the last two terms of their tenure, Sanjeev and Sial have made Sec 15A a place of pride – not just the residents, even the top Noida Authority officials take personal pride in the Sector and
invite their guests to Club 15A.

One of the biggest changes that the Sector and the Club has seen is in regards to our children. Youngsters, young mothers and their children, like one big family, flock to the Club in large numbers every day. This is what our founding President PK Kaul and subsequent presidents have always wanted.

Gone are the days when our youngsters would prefer to go to Delhi clubs, pubs and bars to spend their evenings. Now they invite their friends to 15A with pride and show them around the immaculately and elegantly done-up facilities in the Club and the beautifully-kept Sector, beginning from the stylish entrances, clean and beautifully resurfaced roads and re-done drains and pathways.

Our editor Bina Aranha who joined us in the Club after seven months, was very pleasantly surprised to see this total turnaround in the look of the new Bar and Dining Room and the Lounge.

Our Sector senior Chartered Accountant Mr Kapoor would lambast the Club management for posting operational losses year after year, and he feared that this would bring down the Club’s future Balance Sheets. All this has now changed. What is surprising is that even after this turnaround, the Club has in their 2 year term posted a whopping Rs.2.90 crore in profits and added Rs.2.55 crore to the Club’s fixed deposits. Sanjeev Sareen’s astute financial and operational planning with the excellent support of President Inderjit Sial has made all this possible.

Now that our Club and our Sector are a pride of place, it is important that this position is maintained and we don’t do anything in the future knowingly or unknowingly to let the two institutions down. (Also see Samvada’s interview with Sanjeev on page 6 on some important points to keep in mind to keep this position of pride intact).
