C Block Greater Kailash 1 is a mine of talented professionals. Today we introduce you to an interesting personality and a unique professional – a numero uno magician-Jadugar Samrat Shanker. Born in 1950, he is one of the top four magicians of the world and has won many awards in national / international magic competitions.
Since how long have you been doing magic shows?
I am doing magic shows for the last 50 yrs.
How many magic shows have you done?
More than 30000 shows out of which around 24000 were for charity.
What kind of charity shows have you done?
I have done shows for Chief Minister Relief Fund, Red Cross Society, Flood, Earthquake and Disaster affected States, Kargil War Welfare Fund etc.
I am told a film is being made on your life?
Yes, a documentary film covering my five decades of magician journey with glimpses of the shows done by me is being released by the name ‘Jaadu Meri Nazar’.
